Children's Film Festival: Opening

Live dubbing of the movie Wolfwalkers

For the first time ever, the Faroe Islands have a children's film festival, BFF. This calls for a celebration!
The opening of the Children's Film Festival will take place at the Nordic House, where the popular music group DJ Kingz will kick off the festival with a bang. Entertainment for all children and the young at heart.
Afterward, there will be a live-dubbed screening of the Oscar-nominated animated film, Wolfwalkers.
Simply put, live-dubbing means that while you enjoy the movie in the cinema's darkness, actors sit in the front row with microphones and headlamps, adding Faroese voices live – directly from the auditorium!
WolfwalkersThe film tells the story of a young girl who travels to Ireland with her father with the aim of eradicating the last wolves. There, she befriends a brave girl from a mysterious clan said to be able to transform into wolves at night. The film is a stunning animation and was, among other things, nominated for an Oscar for Best Animated Feature.
The film is best suited for the age group 7 and up.
