Silvitni is a small female choir from the Faroe Islands. It was Cinthia González who, in 2020, brought together a small group of women with a passion for choral singing.
The purpose was to gather a choir up to the task of taking on diverse and challenging music. The repertoire is varied and consists of classical and contemporary music from around the world. Since its foundation, the choir has been quite active, performing at self-managed concerts and festivals as well as singing at ceremonies, private events, on television, and on radio. Silvitni has participated in the Choir Competition in the Faroe Islands and was awarded 1st place in 2022 and 2nd place in 2023 and 2024.
