Experience the musical legends of Enekk

The band Enekk was founded in 1991 and featured the song "Eru vit til?" on the album "Amnestytónum" that same year. Between 1993 and 2004, Enekk released four albums. While no new albums have been released since, the band has continued to perform both in the Faroe Islands and abroad at various intervals. Their most recent performance was at the G! Festival in 2024.

Many musicians have been part of the band over the years, including Bulgarian folk and jazz musicians. However, the core members have been Kári Sverrisson (vocals and guitar), Agnar Lamhauge (bass), and Óli á Grindafløtti (piano, synth, and accordion). For the OY concert, they will be joined by Høgni Klakkstein (drums) and Heðin Ziska Davidsen (electric guitar and electronics). Høgni played drums and percussion on Enekk’s debut album "Andlit hins tigandi", while Heðin contributed to "Meðan vit nærkast jørðini", the band’s most recent release.

The OY performance will feature songs from all four albums, as well as some new, unreleased material.
