Huldulitt: William Heinesen Tour

William’s House will open its doors to guests.

Randi Kúrberg will share insights about William Heinesen and his world of huldufólk and troll-like creatures. Guests will also have the opportunity to wander through William Heinesen’s home and peek into the writing nook of the celebrated poet.

William Heinesen wrote stories, drew, and created figures inspired by old legends about hidden people, trolls, and elves. These creatures came to life through his illustrations and narratives. Randi Kúrberg will share insights about William Heinesen and his mythical beings of hidden people and trolls. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to explore the world of William Heinesen and peek into the writing nook of the “star poet under Varða,” as he is also known. A tour of William’s House lasts approximately 45 minutes and costs 100 DKK. Choose from the following dates and times:
