Seinferð music film

A live session recorded in the Faroe Islands by singer-songwriter Lea Kampmann

Faroese premiere!

Seinferð is a music film by Lea Kampmann. The film is a live session shot in the Faroe Islands. It contains six songs from Lea's album release, Seinferð, released in September 2024. In the film, Lea performs the songs acoustically, only with guitar, in six places in the Faroe Islands that have special significance for her and her songwriting.

The screening will be accompanied by a short live set and an interview. (Included in the ticket price). The total duration of the event is 60-70 minutes.

Genre-wise, the film lies somewhere between a short film and a long-form music video where the live session gives way to peaceful appearances, deep intimacy, and a particularly beautiful soundtrack that brings out emotions and memories. The film is mixed in surround sound, which strengthens the experience of sitting in the middle of the Faroese nature for at an intimate concert with Lea.

After the show there will be a short live set by Lea. The themes of the film then form the framework for a conversation about grief, presence, and the bittersweet feeling that it can be to belong to more than one place. Here Lea, together with the shooting director, Asger Borberg and the sound artist and engineer, Atli Arnarsson, will talk about how the film came into being and discuss the cultural and artistic dynamics between Denmark and the Faroe Islands that they considered while making the film.
