Art exhibition at the National Library.

Vónbjørt Vang (b. 1974) creates paper collages from discarded library materials, old books, magazines, and other found paper. As a writer and librarian, she has a special connection to paper and books. Through collage art, she explores how fragments from older paper materials can gain new meanings when placed in different contexts. Vónbjørt holds a Master of Arts degree and a bachelor's degree in artistic work from the University of the Faroe Islands. She currently works as a city librarian in Tórshavn.
